Ouri's Market: Your Premier Kosher Grocery Destination in NYC

This is truly one of the best markets in New York. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and delicious, and the customer service is outstanding. The bagels are my absolute favorite — especially their bagel sandwiches, which are honestly some of the best I’ve had in the city. The girls who work in the bagel section truly make the whole experience even better. They’re always friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They greet you with a smile and create such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The store manager is also very helpful and pleasant, making sure everything runs smoothly and that customers feel valued. Highly recommend this place to everyone! You won’t be disappointed!

Ouri’s Market is a wonderful new addition to the upper east side! Their selection of fresh fruits and vegetables was impressive and their prices competitive and actually less than some of the other specialty markets in the area. Ouri’s has created such an attractive store that even meat department looks inviting and almost elegant! I was also impressed with their seafood selection! I visited Ouri’s on their opening day when they were still stocking shelves and hadn’t started baking their bagels, however their babka was delicious! They also have a great selection of prepared salads and other prepared foods that will ( I’m certain) be flying off their shelves!

Wow!! I work at a nearby college and walked past after teaching this morning. After eyeing the bins of beautifully fresh fruits and veggies I decided to go in and was Gi smacked by this gorgeous market. Large aisles, huge variety of products, and freshly prepared foods to go made have made this a regular stop in my routine. They’ve got loads of staples and fun imported snacks and treats, fresh sushi (watched it being made), knowledgable meat and seafood departments, and so many freshly prepared to-go foods I had trouble deciding what to try first (and I say that as a vegan who usually just has to make do with whatever is available which fits my dietary restrictions). Can’t wait to return. Friendly staff as well.

Very high quality produce at this store and the pre prepared meals are great too. We regularly get the cut up pineapple. This grocery store is kosher but it’s also the best gourmet market in the area. I shop here quite regularly. It is way too crowded on Fridays. Don’t come after 11am Friday unless you are willing to brave a very long line and craziness and no shopping carts. Can they please open another store on the UWS to relieve some of the traffic especially Fridays. People are coming over from the west side.

Ooh ooh Ouri’s! This place redefines grocery shopping. Every aisle is thoughtfully curated, the food is fresh and beautiful, and there’s a certain energy that makes you want to stay longer than you need to. I picked up a raspberry lemonade boba and a teriyaki salmon salad — both were restaurant-quality and full of flavor. You can tell everything here is chosen with care. It’s sleek, well-stocked, and somehow manages to feel both upscale and inviting Whether you’re browsing or buying, Ouri’s turns errands into an experience. Five stars, no question. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

On today's episode of Chicken Wars, we have Ouri’s. They have a few locations, but I went to the one on the Upper East Side. A whole chicken ran $25.99 which made me want to swallow a cactus. I felt like I took a baseball bat to the liver or got hit by a spinning back elbow from jon jones. Nonetheless, I’m here to find the best tissi, regardless of price. As much as I wanted to hate it due to the price point, this chicken went CRAZY. Tender breast, great leg, elite skin. My only critique is that there wasn’t a lot of flavor in the meat itself, but it was still operating at a high level. I scored it 8.5/10, which ranks it tied for 5th with Wegmans out of 30 grocery stores I have currently tried. You could get 2.6 Wegmans chickens for this price, but that’s neither here nor there. I will never be back because I’m never paying $25.99 for a chicken outside of Chicken Wars, but it was a great bird I can’t even lie. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

One of the best places in New York City to get kosher meat. They have an extensive selection of dry-aged meat. However, the prices are high.

Although I have visited New York around ten times, I have rarely had the opportunity to shop at local markets. However, I happened to come across this one by chance, and it immediately struck me as clean and well-maintained. When purchasing sushi, freshness is my top priority, and this place appeared to meet that standard with its relatively high level of hygiene. The fruits, coffee, and baked goods also looked fresh, and most notably, the steady stream of customers suggested that products were selling quickly and being replenished frequently. Outside the market, several tables were available, making it a convenient spot for travelers to rest and enjoy their food in a relaxed setting.
